As an independent production company MMM Film (founded in 1989) produces and co-produces International Arthouse features for the cinema and TV. Our aim is the production of challenging and unique films of artistic value. Recent successful films are VERFOLGT (HOUNDED), winner of the Golden Leopard "Competition Filmmakers Of The Present" Locarno 2006, the multiple awarded feature FREMDE HAUT (UNVEILED), CIENCIAS MORALES and HEART OF STONE.

Thanks to our well-established presence in different regions of Germany and South America (we run branch offices in Berlin, Stuttgart and Buenos Aires) we are in a position to act as a service-production company and co-financier for international co-productions.

Alongside the owner of the company Ulrike Zimmermann (Producer, C.E.O., PDF-Vita) we have working for us Andrés Jauernick (Line Producer), Frank Scheuffele (Accountant) and alternating freelancers. In legal matters we co-operate with the Hamburg-based law firm Zimmermann, Scholz & Partner. Our script and project development is advised by kombinat-filmreif.

In 2006 MMM VERLEIH (Theatrical distribution) was founded, we released „Hounded“, „White man with black bread“ and „Anne Clark Live“.

We have a regular presence at the International film events and markets like in Berlin, Cannes, Leipzig and also take part in international co-production meetings like in Locarno and Buenos Aires. The internationally orientated training seminars (1999 Vertical Strategies, 2001 EAVE, 2003 MFI) gave us valuable impulses.  MEDIA and Eurimages are important complements for the german filmfunds, who are generously supporting us.
